Happy Halloween

 Happy Halloween from grade 5! For the month of October the students all read a mystery chapter book. After completing their book, the students completed a skeleton themed book report. The 5th graders will be presenting their projects to to the 3rd and 4th grade students. Take a look at their great costumes and projects.

Native American Tribes

 As a conclusion to our unit on Native American Tribes our class prepared poster projects. Each student had to choose a tribe. Then they researched important information about their tribe: including where theylived, clothing , homes and culture and tradition. After completing reseach the student learned how to type text boxes for the project. They included a map and colored the states where their tribe lived. Each student chose their own art work to add to their posters. Take a lookat our great work!

Learning Types of Sentences

 The students in grade 5 worked on a project to identify different types of sentences in Grammar. The students worked together to categorize a list of sentences.Then they made a poster and divided it into the different categories so that they were able to group the sentences into the correct category. The students enjoyed working together on this project. Here is a finished project!

The Beatitudes

 We learned about the Beatitudes in Grade 5. The students understand that these rules were given to us by Jesus at the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus wants us to live the Beatitudes everyday. Our class has learned the Beatitudes and completed a project to remind us how Jesus wants us to live.
