Living Timeline for the Industrial Revolution

The 5th grade learned about the Industrial Revolution inSocial Studies. Each student chose a specific invention from the time period. They explained how the invention worked, and how it made life easier for people. For the living timeline each student presented their findings to the class.

This yrear the 5th graders will be buddies with the 2nd graders. Each child will be paired up with a buddy for the year. The 5th grade students will be role models to their little buddy. Volume Snowmen

 Fifth graders learned how to find the volume of cubic figures by learning a formula and completed this fun project. Each group measured the length, width and heightbof their boxes in order to calculate the volume of each box in cubic inches. The we calculated the total volume by adding. Next they learned how to wrap a package. Students could could decorate their snowman after assembling it. Take a look at their great results!
