Happy Easter! Jesus has risen! St. James students participated in a prayer service to resurrect the Alleluia. Each class presented their banners to celebrate the risen Jesus.
This yrear the 5th graders will be buddies with the 2nd graders. Each child will be paired up with a buddy for the year. The 5th grade students will be role models to their little buddy. Throughout the year we will have many planned activities together. Here are some pictures of our first meeting.
Fifth graders learned how to find the volume of cubic figures by learning a formula and completed this fun project. Each group measured the length, width and heightbof their boxes in order to calculate the volume of each box in cubic inches. The we calculated the total volume by adding. Next they learned how to wrap a package. Students could could decorate their snowman after assembling it. Take a look at their great results!
